Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a lifelong resident of Lower Bucks County. He was a 1960 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, which was the first graduating class. Chuck began work as an electrician at Victor Chemical in Morrisville, where he met his future bride, Lorraine. In October 1963, he was called to service in the US Army. He served his country faithfully in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged in 1965.
Chuck and Lorraine were married on September 3, 1966. They had three beautiful daughters, Michele, Colleen, and Renee. He returned to work at Victor Chemical, which became Stauffer Chemical. A man who always tried to better himself, Chuck went to Bucks County Community College and then Drexel University at night on the GI Bill, and earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
In 1995 he retired. Always keeping active, Chuck was a PIAA referee for football, baseball, and softball. He was an avid golfer in Myrtle Beach, SC. He also liked 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles. As a mechanical engineer, he always knew what was wrong with a car. The man could fix anything.
His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Poppy would attend numerous recitals, soccer, basketball, and volleyball games, as well as attending his granddaughter's musicals. You name it, Poppy and Mammy would be there.
A legend and a hero; he will be missed by all.
