Charlotte Eugenia Rendeiro

She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Rendeiro Sr., her son James D. Rendeiro, her parents, and her brothers, Daniel Slota, John Slota, Eugene Slota, and Richard Slota; and her sister Eleanor Disbrow.

Charlotte is survived by her children; John G. Rendeiro, Jr. (Paula), Jeanne Curran (John), Daniel Rendeiro (Leslie), Sharon Bittorf (George), David Rendeiro (Sharon), Charlotte Smallwood (Gary), and Charlene Rendeiro (Jeff); her grandchildren: Kate, John III, Laurie, Jacqueline, Jimmy, Jeff, Samantha, Sadie, Jenna, Lauren, David, Nicholas, Brendan, Maddie, Jonah, Dexter and Zane; her 23 great-grandchildren; and by her sisters; Dorothy Jardine, Karen Biache, and Cheryl Gane.

Charlotte loved to travel and when she and John retired, they went to the Soviet Union and worked at the American Embassy in Moscow for two years, where Charlotte won a performance award for her management of the embassy’s purchasing function. They traveled throughout Europe and the United States in later years, visiting family and friends. A fluent Polish speaker, Charlotte particularly enjoyed her multiple visits to Poland.

A memorial gathering for Charlotte will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Queen of the Universe, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a Requiem Mass at 10:30 AM.

Burial of cremated remains will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, Pennsylvania 19047.
