

Christine C. Spoto Christine went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 1, 2014. She was 98 years old. Born to the late Rosetta and Melvin Castle in Yazoo City, Mississippi, she had four brothers, EP, Gladney, Irby and John and is survived by one sister, Beatrice Straughn. She moved to Memphis, Tenn., during World War II and worked as an airplane inspector for Fisher Aircraft. She met the love of her life Tony Spoto and was married in 1944. Christine will be sadly missed by her 4 children, Meleta Seher (late Bill), Linda Gibilisco (Joe), Deborah Johnson (Herb) and Jerry (Mary Jane). She has ten grandchildren, Mark Seher, Vicki MacNeill, Brent Seher, Tracy McIhinney, George Schultz, Jason Schultz, Kelly Heath, Jerry Spoto, Danielle Spoto and Amanda Abrams. She also leaves 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews to carry on her legacy. Christine loved writing and reciting poetry, playing the harmonica and spending time with her family, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend and was so dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was a member of Trinity Community Church for many years. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:00 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Trinity Community Church, 1122 Frosty Hollow Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
