Dale L. Hunter

Born in Lebanon, PA and raised in Annville, PA, son of the late Hilda (Bowman) and Harry Hunter. Mr. Hunter was a 1953 graduate of Annville High School.

In 1960 he moved to Hightstown, NJ. He then moved to Lower Bucks County in 1968, where he resided until moving to Jenkintown in 2019.

Mr. Hunter began his career in the sixties as a computer programmer. In the late eighties he bought a Pepperidge Farm Bread Distribution Route. He retired in 2010 but, continued to help run other routes until 2017.

He loved animals, especially dogs and horses. He gave many rescue animals a loving home and passed on the love of animals to his daughters and grandchildren. He enjoyed fly fishing, bird watching and enjoyed road trips with his wife and family. He loved Philadelphia Sports, Horse Racing and the Oakland A's.

Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Snyder) for 60 years. Mr. Hunter is the loving father Deborah Junkin, D.M.D. (Andrew Junkin, D.M.D.) of Jenkintown and the late Brenda Nunn.

He will also be sadly missed by his three grandchildren, Jason Nunn, Daniel Junkin and Maggie Junkin; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Nunn and Alexa Nunn.

Also left to survive Mr. Hunter is his brother Brook Hunter, PhD (Nancy); sister, Glenda Hunter; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

All services and interment will be held privately.
