

David C. Allen David C. Allen of Levittown died on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Saint Mary Medical Center. He was 86. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Allen has been a resident of Levittown for 62 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Allen was a member of the Church of the Incarnation and a former member of Saint Paul Episcopal Church where he served on the Vestry. He was an accomplished carpenter, besides making extensive renovations in his home, he also built 2 additions with the help of his friend, Joe Lamping, Sr. In later years, he volunteered with Aid for Friends, enjoyed traveling, doing cryptograms, crossword puzzles and computer games. Mr. Allen was the beloved husband of Helen Bond Allen for 62 years. He was the loving father of Charles D. Allen, and his wife Deborah A., Cynthia D. Arnold and her husband Jack L. and the late Craig D. Allen. He was the devoted grandfather of Richard D. Arnold, Gregory A. Arnold, David C. Allen II, Linda Hedgeman and the great grandfather of Lily, Addison, Cassidy and Holly. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Marilyn Reina, one niece and four nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 12:00 pm, at The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, 1505 Makefield Road, Morrisville, PA 19067. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation at the above address.
