David S. Klimowicz, Sr.

David S. Klimowicz, Sr. David S. Klimowicz, Sr. died at home on Saturday, December 18, 2010. He was 59. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, the son of the late Edward J., Sr. and Agnes (Anelauskas) Klimowicz he moved to Levittown in the 1950's residing in Bristol Township. He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish. Until his retirement in July, 2009, Mr. Klimowicz was a foreman with PennDot out of the Worthington Box, Bucks County, for 38 years. He enjoyed airplanes and his coin collection. He was an avid Philly sports fan and loved watching games with his family. Mr. Klimowicz is the loving father of David S. Jr. of Levittown and his fiance, Tara Goodreau of Fairless Hills, Andrew and his wife, Megan of Fairless Hills, Anne Marie and Tony, both of Levittown, and the doting grandfather of Natalie Marie. He is the brother of Edward J. Jr., (Rosemarie) of Yardley, Rosann Ferraro (Joseph) of Fairless Hills, Stephen (Margie) of Levittown, Mark of Levittown, Joseph (Ellen) of Edison, NJ, Michael (Valerie) of Levittown, John (Christine) of Levittown and Mary Jo Afflerbach (John) of Harleysville. He will also be sadly missed by an aunt, uncle, cousins and many nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, "Keko". Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, 8:15 until 9:15 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 7701 Burholme Avenue, Philadelphia 19111.
