Denese M. Jordan

Denese M. Jordan (Sullivan) passed away peacefully on June 21, 2012. She was 49. Born and raised on Croydon, Denese was the daughter of the late Michael J. Sullivan, Jr. and Florence I. Sullivan (Greene). She has resided in Falls Township for the past 19 years. Denese graduated from Bishop Conwell High School in 1980 and later received her RN from Helene Fuld School of Nursing. She most recently was employed as a case manager with Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey. In earlier years she worked in the Labor and Delivery Department at Helene Fuld Medical Center and was a counselor with Planned Parenthood in Trenton. Denese was the loving wife of Frank E. Jordan and wonderful mother of Robert M. Colston, Jr. (Traci), Heather Shore (Blair, III) and Wayne Apice (Michelle Walter). She was the bestest Grammy to Natalie, Nina and Tommy Colston and Emmi and Blair, IV Shore. She will be sadly missed by her brother Michael J. Sullivan (Susan Fellows) and sister Patricia Basmajian (Dennis) and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
