Dolores was born September 25, 1937, in Philadelphia, to Francis and Josephine (Lithgow) Gale.
Dolores graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Philadelphia. She was employed for many years in the accounting department of Industrial Products where she worked until her retirement. She was married to the love of her life Frank Pintozzi for 48 years.
Dolores and Frank spent many weekends at their dream vacation home in Mystic Islands, New Jersey where they made so many memories with family and friends. Dolores always called the shore her happy place!! In their retirement, Frank and Dolores became snow birds enjoying summers at their home in Mystic Islands, New Jersey and winters at their second home in Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda, Florida, where they enjoyed golfing and spending time with their many wonderful friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Pintozzi, her parents, and brothers, Edward and Francis Gale.
Dolores will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families: Denise Sinkiewicz and her husband, Martin, Linda Barnes and her husband, Barry, Michael Pintozzi and his wife Patty. She will be lovingly remembered as Mom Mom by her eight grandchildren: Jill Walter, Brian Sinkiewicz (Stephanie), Mark Sinkiewicz (Emily), Kelly Peterson (Brian), Katie Bachmann (Derek), Jeffrey Barnes (Kandace), Christopher Pintozzi (Michelle) and Kevin as well as her eleven great grandchildren and twelfth great grandchild on the way.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, Pennsylvania 19047.
The family wishes to thank her caregivers and staff from Home Instead as well as the staff at Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion.
