Dolores S. Solar The world lost a beautiful beloved woman Dolores S Solar, age 87; she went home to be with her Lord & Saviour on January 21st, 2013. She passed peacefully at her home in the presence of her loving husband. Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Collingswood, NJ. She then moved to Levittown, PA and became a lifelong resident. She graduated from the US Cadet Navy Nurse Corps in May 1946 and continued as a Registered Nurse until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was active in many church activities. She will be sadly missed by Martin D Solar her beloved husband of 66 years. Preceded in death by her son Glen Solar. She is also survived by her daughters Randi Hawley (Jack) of Newtown and Bette Sullivan (Michael) of Fairless Hills. She was the loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 11:00 am on Friday, February 15th at Faith Baptist Church, 1515 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030 where relatives and friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00am. Interment will be held privately in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Church at the above address.
