Doris was the most strongest, loving woman that has peacefully crossed over through the heavens gate.
God has gained a beautiful angel.
She was born on July 1st, 1948. She was a loving daughter to her parents, and a loving sister and to all of her siblings. She was truly blessed and devoted to her husband of 59 years. She was the most caring loving mother to her two daughters. She was the best amazing loving grandmother to all of her grandchildren.
As we all say “there is no place like nanas house, because what happens at nanas stays at nanas.” Doris really loved and cherished her family. As we all really loved and cherished her, she will always be forever in our hearts. As for Doris’ life, it was filled with lots of joy, love, and laughter. She was a strong willed house wife and always put her family first. Family time was her favorite, she would have all of us there playing board games, or giving us word search books and we would see how many pages we would get done. It was about us all spending time with one another that she held close to her heart. But now we will hold the memories of her close in our hearts. So many memories and great times with her will be truly missed but not forgotten.
Since we are not having full services we would like to put this poem in here as a reminder of her:
It seems to us the day you left,
The sun shined a little more brighter,
Like you were already giving us a sign you crossed over, making your way through the heavens gate.
Although we are sad and lost of your parting ways, we shall remember the joyous memories of you.
For us we know you wouldn’t want us to weep, you’d want us to stand tall and be strong, and know you’re looking down on us guiding us to our next journey in life.
You will be forever in our hearts truly missed and always loved and remembered, shine bright our beautiful angel!
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:30 AM, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. Please be in line at the main office no later than 9:15 AM.
