Edward J. CoyneEdward J. Coyne died at his home in Yardley on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was 54.Born in Philadelphia, Ed was a life time Lower Bucks County resident and a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 1977.Ed enjoyed playing softball, however, he was passionate about music. He loved playing the guitar, singing and composing his own songs.He was the son of the late Edward R. Coyne and uncle of the late Matthew McCall, Beloved son of Cecelia B. Coyne, Ed is also survived by his sister, Kathleen M. McCall (Dennis) of Levittown; his brothers, Richard (Regina) of Newtown, David (Kelley) of Fairless Hills and Douglas (Traci) of Perkasie; and his nieces and nephews, Andria Dilatush (Clark), Sarah, Elijah, Keara, Bridget, Connor, Mikayla, Connor and Savanah. He will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 9:00 until 10:30 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ed's name may be made to Lower Makefield Township Police Department, DARE Program, 1100 Edgewood Road, Yardley, PA 19067, payable to LMTPD.
