

Edward B. Swanson Edward B. Swanson of Langhorne was risen with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 52. Born in Bristol, Edward was a life long resident of Lower Bucks County and has resided in Langhorne for the past 19 years. A 1978 graduate of Neshaminy Langhorne High School, Ed worked at the K-Mart Distribution Center in Morrisville for 11 years. He was also a printing press operator for many years. Ed greatly enjoyed deep sea fishing, wood working and making pizza. Ed was a Mr. Fixit and was always there to help out family and friends with their projects. But his greatest joy in life was his family and the time spent with them. Edward was the beloved husband of Annette (Strack) Swanson for 24 years. He was the loving father of Amy L. Swanson and John E. Swanson, both of Langhorne. He was the son of the late Lillian Swanson Nielsen and John Swanson. He will also be sadly missed by sisters, Eldine Baldus (Mark), Carol Post (Tom), his brother J. Walter Swanson (Marge) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and on Friday, 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where his Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
