Elizabeth P. Haworth

Elizabeth “Dolly” Haworth passed away on November 14, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital, with her devoted and loving family at her bedside, after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer and Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was 71.

Dolly was a Langhorne and Levittown resident for many years. She was born in Philadelphia and raised on a farm in Bensalem. She graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1966. Dolly was a certified cosmetologist and then later in life worked as an administrative assistant for Stephen J. Masceri MD, where clients and patients became lifelong friends.

Dolly’s greatest joy were the times that she spent with her family, along with cooking and baking delicious food for everyone that she knew. She was an avid gardener, collector of milk glass, enjoyed reading, and loved to travel. Dolly is preceded in death by her parents John F. and Elizabeth (Blasch) Secoda Sr. and her brother John F. Secoda Jr. She was the beloved wife of Richard Haworth Sr. for 50 years. Dolly was the loving mother of Richard Haworth Jr. (Rachelle) and Elizabeth Haworth; doting grandmother of Matthew Haworth, Bryan Haworth and Olivia Haworth; and the caring pet grandmother of two dogs and four cats.She is also survived by her brother Joseph B. Secoda Sr. (Margaret); James L. Secoda Sr. (Donna); and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, November 22, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. A funeral Mass with be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours on Saturday morning prior to the Mass.
