Ellen A. (Price) Smith, of Levittown died on Friday, September 23, 2011 at her home. She was 70. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Whittaker) Price, she has resided in Levittown for many years. Mrs. Smith was the beloved wife of Francis J. Smith who preceded her in death on June 3, 2011. She was the loving mother of Judy Young (Kevin), Kathy Tkacz (Luther), Ann Grant (Ray) and Sue Smith. She was the devoted grandmother of Samantha Scheidler, Kevin Young, Matthew Shields, Amanda Grant, Megan Young, Jessica Grant and Michael Young. She was the great grandmother of Nevaeh Grant. She is also survived by 2 sisters, 6 brothers and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
