

Emily R. Morton Emily R. Morton of Levittown, died on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 81. Mrs. Morton was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a resident of Levittown for the past 57 years. She was employed with Thrift Drugs Warehouse for many years. She was an avid Phillie's fan and enjoyed building puzzles. A modern woman, Mrs. Morton had both a Skype and Facebook Account. Her favorite passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter and vacations in North Carolina. Mrs. Morton was the beloved wife of the late Malcolm Morton for nearly 58 years. She was the loving mother of Gary J. Morton and his wife Maryann of Levittown; John Morton and his wife Karen of Langhorne; Debra Hayden and her husband Bob of Glen Burnie, MD; Edward T. Morton of Levittown; and Christine Paglia and her husband Andy of Barrington, NJ. She will also be sadly missed by 7 grandchildren, Kevin, Lauren (Zack), Andy, Jeff, Crystal, Kristin and Rachel; great granddaughter, Mia and her siblings, Lilllian Reed (George); Betty Hummel; Essie Smith; and Wesley Woodroffe (Elaine) and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon. Interment will be held privately.
