

Eugene Michael McNally, a resident of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at the age of 85. Known playfully as “Big Mac,” he was loved for his strong presence, sense of humor, and deep dedication to his family and friends.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Eugene was the son of George McNally and Dorothy Horgan. He later moved to Teaneck, New Jersey at age 10 and later to Edison and to West Deptford during his adult years.
Eugene was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering, earning his Mechanical Engineering degree in 1962. He later received his Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and became a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey. Throughout his career, he held roles including Plant Manager at Lightolier Company and Simkar Lighting and later served as Purchasing Manager at Seagull Lighting.
After retiring, Eugene and Barbara moved to Tucson, Arizona, where they enjoyed their retirement years before returning east to be closer to family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was proud of the accomplishments of his kin. His hobbies during his life included billiards, bridge, garage sales, the Philadelphia Phillies, and Jeopardy.
Eugene was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, George McNally (Kathleen).
Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Loeffler McNally, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children: Kathleen Kas (Michael Barbetta) of Washington Crossing, Patricia Penglase (William) of Flourtown, and Michael McNally (Lina) of Schwenksville. He was a proud grandfather to Kristen Kas (Michael McGill) of Delaware and Robert Kas III (Katherine Helliwell) of New Jersey, and great-grandfather to Scarlett Kas.
His ashes will be interred in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont at a later date.
Eugene will be remembered for his love of intellectual discussions, his pride in his family, and his keen sense of humor. “Big Mac” leaves behind a legacy that will live on through all who knew him.
