

Florence D. Ropars Florence D. Ropars of Fairless Hills passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center with her family by her side. She was 77. Born in Buffalo, New York, Floss was a Fairless Hills resident since 1963. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved gardening and cooking for them. She also enjoyed reading and doing needlepoint. Floss was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Ropars, Sr. and the loving mother of Charles W. Ropars, Jr. (Mary), Michael C. Ropars (Catherine), Kimberly A. Coffey (Mike) and Craig S. Ropars (Tanya). She was the devoted grandmother of Katlyn, Jessica (Sean Navin), Jamie, Michael, Michael Coffey, Jr., Emily, Nicholas, Craig Ropars, Jr., and her great grandson Colin. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Clyde Shaffer (Elsie) and her sisters-in-law Pat Tobin (Jim), Nancy Stone (Joe) and several nieces and nephews. She was also fortunate to have two amazing friends and caregivers in Jackie and Sue. Family and friends may call Sunday, November 15 from 12 noon until 1:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Medical Center Foundation, One Summit Square, Suite 300, 1717 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
