She was a long time resident of Colbalt Ridge, Levittown, PA. Frances Stetser was born on August 4th 1930 in Philadelphia, to parents, Henry and Carrie Krise. She graduated from Olney High School in 1948. Frances was a loving wife and mother, and she returned to work in 1978. She worked for Brandt Corporation, Currency Division until she retired.
Frances loved traveling with her husband Bob to many locations throughout the country. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Later in life, she traveled with her sister Ruth, and her brother Henry. Frances was an incredible baker and an enthusiastic seamstress. She enjoyed many holidays baking cookies, pies, and cinnamon buns for all the family gatherings. She liked flower arranging and ceramics. She always had a story to tell and a joke or some wit to share. She was a lifelong Catholic and a member of Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in Levittown.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Stetser, her son Robert B. Stetser, her sister Helen and her husband Albert DiGiovanni, her brother Henry and his wife Mary Krise, and her brother-in-law Robert Kirby.
Frances is survived by her son Ron and his wife Karen Stetser, her daughter-in-law Janice Stetser, her sister Ruth Kirby, grandchildren Daniela and Keith Stetser, Katie and Vince Ireland, Kyle Stetser and his wife Nichol, and Melissa Stetser and her husband Chris, 8 great grandchildren, Michael, Eian, Nathan, Vince, Frank, Gio, Harper, and Gunner. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and her caregiver Ivy John who has been at her side for over 10 years.
A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday June 27th, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd.,Levittown, Pa. 19056 at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral service at 11:30 AM , and interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
