Francis E. Gearhart

Preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Marie; grandson, Domenic Joseph; and his brothers, Leland, Leroy and Carl.

Survived by his wife of 60 blissful years, Angela; their daughter, Linda Mae Schrier; son-in-law, Vincent Schrier; and his daughter-in-law, Lorraine Gearhart. But his pride and joy was his granddaughter, Francesca Lynn. All of us took a back seat when she was born. His whole being for the past 18 years focused around Francesca. She was the twinkle in his baby blue/hazel eyes.

Also, survived by his son, Carl Gearhart; sisters, Leona Neely, Lois Broyan, Sandra Workman; and brother, Larry Gearhart.

He was a very religious man whose priorities were God and family then everyone else his life came in contact with. He was Military Police in the US Army and was very proud of the Flag, for which it stands. He worked for US Steel Mill in Levittown and participated in the US Steel Chorus for many years. He had a wonderful bass voice and wasn't afraid to sing. They toured the local grade schools, hospitals and nursing homes. He even drove a "big blue bus" when the Chorus traveled.

Hobbies included: hunting, basketball, collecting sports memorabilia and autographs, Phillies games, Eagles (for better or worse), and always helping others.

A special thank you is extended to the staff in the skilled nursing unit of Juniper Village and Caring Hospice for the kind and loving care given to "Frank" over the past 6 months.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Fallsington Methodist Church, 50 Lacrosse Street, Fallsington, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne with military honors.

Family request NO black attire. Phillies/Eagles attire is appropriate and appreciated. Frank loved a good game. He has slid safely into home base.
