

Gary Lee Davis, age 60, of Fairless Hills, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 26, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.Born in Coudersport, PA, he has been a Fairless Hills resident for over 20 years.Gary was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Registry Clerk in Princeton, NJ for over 29 1/2 years. He was also a die hard New York Yankees fan.Gary loved his Lord, Jesus Christ, and faithfully served Him in many ministries at Christian Life Center for 14 years. These included ushering, servicing communion, shepherding small group Bible Studies at his home and helping with Thanksgiving food drives. He especially loved the opportunity to welcome new people to the church and walk them to the altar for prayer.Gary loved people, especially the elderly. He provided them with excellent service, delivering their Bucks County Courier Times to the inside door. He looked out for his customers often bringing up their trash cans and checking on them if their papers were not picked up. This earned him 5th place in Newspaper Carriers of PA, for his part-time job.He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Donna M. Strother-Davis; daughter, Kimberly Hadjar (Zack); stepsons, David, Ryan (Tamera) and Kevin (Bryne) Strother; granddaughters, Victoria, Kaylie, Jordan and Jessica and grandsons Justin and Benjamin. Gary is also survived by his sister, Karen Row (Jeff) of New Cumberland, and nephews, Tyler and Lucas Row.A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Christian Life Center, 3100 Galloway Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 where his funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gary's name may be made to the Lazarex Cancer Foundation, PO Box 741, Danville, PA 94526 or the Christian Life Center at the above address.
