Genevieve B. Pasek

Genevieve B. and Chester J. Pasek Genevieve B. "Gen" Pasek died on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at the age of 76 and Chester J. "Chet" Pasek died on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at the age of 78 at Chandler Hall Hospice. They were high school sweethearts and were happily married for 59 years. Gen was born in Wilkes-Barre and Chet was born in Lehman, PA. They had been Levittown residents for 54 years and were members of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Fallsington. Gen was employed with the Pennsbury School District for over 30 years and Chet for Congoleum in Trenton, NJ for more than 40 years. They were volunteers at the Falls Township Senior Center for the past several years and Gen was a member of their Red Hat Society. Chet coached football at Fallsington Elementary School for many years, and was a former president of his Local United Rubber Workers Union for more than 20 years. Gen was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Chet was an avid golfer. They were the loving parents of Chester T. (Marleen) of Levittown, Gary B. (Ann) of Midland, MI and Kimberly A. Boyle (the late Robert) of Dover, PA. They were the devoted grandparents of Katie and C.T. Pasek, Megan Pasek-Rankin, Brian Pasek and Robert and Mark Boyle. They were also the proud great grandparents of McKynzie and Jacob Boyle. Gen was the sister of Sylvia Luther of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sandra Baron of Milford, PA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Ruzicki. Chet was the brother of Paul Pasek of Swoyersville, PA. He was preceded in death by his sister Rosemary Henning. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 3:00 until 5:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Their Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Road, Fallsington. Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
