

Henry (Hank) S. Tokarski passed away unexpectedly at his home in Langhorne on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the age of 95. Born in Philadelphia, he attended North Catholic High School until his enlistment in the US Navy to help defend his country, in the Pacific Theater, during World War II. He was then employed with the Budd Company, until retiring in 1988 after 40 years.Formerly of Feasterville and Pennsburg, Hank resided in Langhorne for the past 4 years. He was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown and was a former member of Assumption B.V.M. Parish in Feasterville and Saint Philip Neri Parish in Pennsburg. He also actively participated as a member of the Men of Malvern for many years.Hank was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially loved his Phillies, and also enjoyed gardening, bowling, and beach vacations with his family. He loved coaching his children's sports teams when they were young and, more recently, attending his grandchildren's school, sporting events, and dance recitals.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Rita Marie (Sagan), Hank is the loving father of Judith M. Meyer (Greg), Tony Tokarski (Diane), Mary Tokarski, Thomas Tokarski and Kimberly A. Gauvreau (Colt). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren: Anthony, James, Jon, Meredith, CJ, Max and Rowan, 3 great grandchildren: Nathan, Harry and Charlie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Hank was predeceased by his parents Mary and Anthony and his sister Florence and brother Teddy.
Family and friends may call on May 12, 2021, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown.
The Rite of Committal will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at precisely 10:30 am.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Hank's name may be made to Guiding Star Ministries, 88 Pennsylvania Avenue, Oreland, PA 19075.
