Henry "Buck" Twining was born in Philadelphia on October 2, 1936. He died peacefully at Aria Torresdale Hospital, surrounded by family, on May 6, 2014. Buck moved to Levittown in 1954 and was a well-known bartender in the area for over 40 years. Buck was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and sports historian. He also enjoyed reading and watching anything related to history. Above all else, Buck loved his family. Buck was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Patti Obarski, his wife Glenda and wife Patricia, his parents Henry and Agnes, his sister Joan Annunziata and his brother Bob. Left to cherish his memory are his sister Patricia Dougherty, his nephews John and Frank and his stepdaughter Denise who were with him as he took his last breath. Buck will be remembered and sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends will be received from 11:30 to 12:30 On Sunday, May 18, 2014 followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 p.m. at the James J Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Interment will be private.
