

Born in Harrisburg, PA, Mr. Romberger has been a longtime resident of Hulmeville and has been a 60 year member of Langhorne Presbyterian Church. He was a 1945 graduate of Langhorne Middletown High School.
Mr. Romberger was very active in the Hulmeville Community and was President of the Hulmeville Boro Council for many years.
Mr. Romberger served proudly in the US Army Air Corps (enlisted reserve) and the US Navy as a Radarman Third Class aboard the USS Saipan. He earned the World War II Victory Medal.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and softball, however, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his granddaughters.
Beloved husband of the late Frances D. (Duncan), Mr. Romberger is the loving father of Suzanne A. Whitaker (David), Ira P. Romberger IV (Evi) and Brian Romberger (Sandy).
He is the devoted grandfather of Amy Gehris (Matt), Jessica Wood (Jon), Megan Romberger, Dana Romberger, Brooke Romberger and Cassie Richardson (Austin); the proud great grandfather of Eloise and Matilda Gehris; and dear brother of Samuel Romberger, Leslie Pixley and the late Nancy Aldrich, John Romberger and Ruth Hunter.
Mr. Romberger will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his good friend, Pepper.
Services and interment will be held privately.
