Irene F. GravuerIrene F. Gravuer died on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 83.Born in Laurel Springs, NJ, Miss Gravuer was a long time resident of Oxford Circle in Philadelphia, prior to residing in Newtown for the past 13 years. She was a member of Glading Presbyterian Church.Miss Gravuer spent most of her working career as a bookkeeper with Paul and Paul Law Office in Philadelphia, until her retirement in 1999.She was a former Girl Scout Leader and an accomplished Ballroom Dancer.Miss Gravuer was preceded in death by her parents, Florence (Snyder) and Bowman H. Gravuer, Sr. and her three brothers, Bowman Jr., Michael and Raymond Gravuer.She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her memorial service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Miss Gravuer's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
