Irene Stelmack Irene Stelmack died on Monday, August 16, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia. She was 86. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Mrs. Stelmack was a fifteen year resident of Bristol. She was a former long time resident of the Mill Creek section of Levittown. She was a member of Saint Mary Ukranian Catholic Church, Bristol and enjoyed her trips to the casinos in Atlantic City. For over forty years, Mrs. Stelmack worked at Pomeroy's and Boscov's until her retirement in 2001. After her retirement, she continued to work part time with her daughter, Lois, for Bucks County Cleaning. Beloved wife of the late Frank, Mrs. Stelmack is survived by her loving children, Lois Vasvilla and her husband, Richard, of Bristol and Nancy Courtney and her husband, Joseph, of Mount Laurel, NJ. She was the proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 9:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made in her name to Vitas Hospice at Nazareth Hospital, 2601 Holme Avenue, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107-3606.
