

Born on July 9, 1929 in [San Fernando] Trinidad, West Indies [to Parents Augustus Wint and Caroline (Brewster) Wint]. His siblings were three brothers [Rudolph(Phyllis), Clive(Ruby), Kenneth], and two sisters [Shirley, Carol(Meade)]. He completed his high school education before migrating to the United States in 1951 [living in Teaneck, New Jersey until 1995].
His marriage to Audrey [Tuitt] in 1957 began the journey of a life long honeymoon, he loved the company of his dear Audrey, they loved to travel, and have been to several parts of the world. He was a caring, loving, and devoted man.
To this union was born Ronald (Bridget) [Sicklerville, NJ], Angela (Kenny Williams) [Burlington, NJ], and Anthony (Dana) [Chicago, IL]. His greatest desire was to see them succeed in life and to be honest and respectable citizens, putting God first in all things in love and devotion. He was predeceased by daughter Jacqueline Wint. He was blessed with eight grandchildren [Denise Wint, Danielle Brown, Troy Brown, Marley Wint, Maxine Wint, Mathis Wint, Sekela Wint, and Tesha Wint], the pride and joy of his life. He lived a quiet life, not allowing the distractions of the world and the cares of this life to affect his faith. He was a Godly man who read through his Bible several times, and was in regular attendance at church each week. He loved worship and being with people in worship.
He served this country in both services of the Army and Air Force. His first assignment was in Korea in 1953 and Guam in 1954. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service from 1961 to 1992 which ended with his retirement. A few years later, he and Audrey moved to [Langhorne] Pennsylvania to enjoy retirement.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral service, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
Burial with full military honors will take place at 2:00 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
