Janet L. Meskers

Janet L. Meskers Janet L. Meskers died suddenly at her home on Saturday, August 7, 2010. She was 65. Born and raised in Oswego, NY, the daughter of the late Alice (Wager) and Willard Spicer, she was a graduate of Oswego High School, Class of 1963. Mrs. Meskers moved to Bucks County in 1970 and had been a Bristol Township resident for the past 34 years. She was a waitress for many years working at the former Genesis Restaurant in Levittown and the DeGrand Diner in Bristol. Mrs. Meskers enjoyed playing online poker and bingo, however, her greatest enjoyment was the love of her family and especially the time spent with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Scott B. Pawline, Mrs. Meskers is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Bruce A., her devoted and loving children, Kenneth R. Pawline (Mariana) of Delanco, NJ and Adam A. Meskers of Levittown and her 7 beautiful grandchildren, Skyler, Miranda, Carrie and her mother, Lisa Marie Patti, Elizabeth, Sophia, Eric and Dylan. The youngest of 23 children, she will also be sadly missed by her brother, Kevin Spicer, her sisters, Beverly Morgia (August), Marlene Raponi and Geraldine Jones all of Oswego, NY and by her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
