January Marie Derby

January Marie Derby, age 46, passed away on October 11th at Jefferson Hospital Washington Township in New Jersey. She was a long time resident of Levittown, PA.

January was born in Langhorne, to parents Colson and Starlet Derby. She graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1996. January went on to have a beautiful baby girl and worked in customer care for many years, until securing a position at Amazon.

January was a movie enthusiast, loved music, dancing, going to new places, loved to serve others, laugh and make others laugh. She was a dedicated caregiver to her mother until her own illness prevented her from continuing.

January was sustained by her faith and thoroughly enjoyed attending Christian Life Center in Bensalem when she was able.

January was preceded in death by her beloved father, Colson A. Derby Jr; paternal grandfather Colson A. Derby Sr; maternal grandmother Florence H. Llewellyn, and many other dearly departed family members.

January is survived by her daughter Savanna and son-in-law Chris ; two grandsons Nick and Joey, who were her pride and joy; her mother Starlet Hough; sister Starlet Picone and brother-in-law Eric; brother Colson Derby III and sister-in-law Desirae; her nephew Shane, nieces Julia and Isabelle; paternal grandmother Gladys M. Derby, many aunts, uncles, cherished cousins, godchild Ashley, and a small circle of very treasured friends.

Services for January will be held in private.
