Jeanette T. Vandever

Jeanette T. Vandever of Fairless Hills died on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 69.Born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Jeanette has been a resident of Fairless Hills for the past 15 years and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish.Jeanette will be remembered as a wonderful, devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was dedicated to her family.Jeanette is survived by her loving children, Catherine Oles (Edward), twins John Vandever (Donna) and Jeanette DiMaulo (Frank) and Kevin Vandever (Jennifer).She is the devoted grandmother of Kelly Evans (Brian), Mark and Andrew Laessig, John and Shannon Vandever, Kayla Marrero (Angel), Karissa, Kelsey, Kevin and Kyle Vandever and Jessica and Rachael DiMaulo; the great grandmother of 7 and was expecting her 8th.The youngest of 4 children, she is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.Family and friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 until 9 a.m. on Thursday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church.  Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
