Jeffrey Carl Nielsen

Born and raised in South River, NJ, the son of Patricia C. Nielsen (nee Ryan) and the late Carl Nielsen, Jeffrey has been a resident of Levittown for the past 31 years.

He spent his 40 year career working as an electrician with SRI International/Sarnoff in Princeton, NJ.

He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council, 4215 in Levittown.

Jeffrey loved being outdoors, gardening, caring for his lawn and feeding the birds. He also enjoyed salt water fishing.

He was a die-hard fan of the New York Football Giants and New York Yankees.

Beloved husband of 30 years to Christine, Jeffrey is the loving father of Jessica Nielsen, and his "best boy" Boomer.

He is the dear brother of Kevin Nielsen (Sandra), Janet Nielsen, Kenneth Nielsen and Nancy Kaminsky (late Dan).

Jeffrey will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews, his father-in-law, Albert Kyselka and sister-in-law, Lisa Farkas (Rob).

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 1, 2019, from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow the funeral service on Tuesday, in Newtown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeffrey's name may be made to the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, (DVGRR), 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, PA 17569.
