Joan A. (Fierro) Stanton, of Allentown, died surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was 73. Born in Philadelphia, she was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Bucks County Community College for 10 years. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Conchetta (Fantacone) Fierro. Joan was the loving mother of Michael J. Stanton of Allentown, Mark A. Stanton of Louisa, VA and Matthew F. Stanton of Pakenham Victoria, Australia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a brother Joseph Fierro of Lawrenceville, NJ and a sister Ann Seabourne of Allentown. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
