

John P. Buckland, age 48, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. Born in Buffalo, NY to Skip and Cheryl Buckland, John was a longtime resident of Levittown, PA. He was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother and a friend to all who knew him. He was known for his humor, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
John’s greatest joy was his family. He was a dedicated partner to his wife, Bethann, and he cherished his role as a father to Kevin, Erin, and Ryan. John was a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills, a lover of music and concerts, and an active member of the Hulmeville Soccer Club. For over 15 years, he poured his heart into coaching youth soccer, including a 3-year term as the club’s President. His commitment to helping children and fostering a love of the game left a lasting mark on those he coached.
John had a special gift for making people laugh. He was known for his quick wit, playful jokes, and infectious smile. He will be remembered for his love of family, friends and the way he made others feel special and appreciated.
John graduated from Truman High School and Bucks County Technical School in 1995. His professional journey took him to Fidelity Investments, where he spent 20 years making a meaningful impact and earning respect from colleagues.
John is survived by his wife, Bethann, and their three children, Kevin, Erin, and Ryan. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Nancy & Lee R. Buckland Sr., and his maternal grandmother, Gloria A Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents Skip and Cheryl Buckland. John is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Diane Buckland, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Josh Dozier, and Jacqueline and Eric Heaning, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. His beloved dog, Zeke, will miss him dearly.
A viewing will be held on December 21, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. He will be laid to rest at Bristol Cemetery, 704 State Rd., Croydon, PA, 19021 after the service.
John’s legacy of laughter, love, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to his family, friends, and the soccer community he served with so much passion.
