John J. Fleming of Philadelphia died on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Statesman Nursing Home. He was 80.Mr. Fleming is the loving father of John J. Fleming III (Linda), Marc Fleming, Joanne Batley (Michael), Sean Fleming and Therese Fleming. He is the devoted grandfather of John IV, Aileen, Douglas, Brianna, Jamie, Paige, Emily, Thomas, Matthew, Michael, Erin, Eric and Laura and great grandfather of Raelin, John V. and Bennet. He is the brother of Shirley Saunders, Ronald Fleming and Joseph Edwards and is also survived by his former wife Mildred Fleming.Family and friends may call 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
