

John C. Marks John C. Marks of Langhorne died on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his home. He was 68. Born in Philadelphia, John worked for U.S Steel at both the Fairless Works and the Clairton Works for 33 years until retiring in 2002. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church where he recently began to help with the Sunday Bingo. John enjoyed woodworking and made several pieces of furniture for his home. He also enjoyed gardening, classic car shows, working on his cars and trucks, donating to the local food banks, and caring for his beloved Shelties. John was the beloved husband of Patricia L. (Lee) Marks for 40 years. He was the brother of Edward G. Marks (Kathy Lea) and Susan Metrow and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated Monday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1787 Woodbourne Rd., Levittown, PA 19057.
