John S. Potosky III

Born in Bristol, son of Carol Ann (Meskers) and John S. Potosky Jr., John was a a 1987 graduate of Pennsbury High School. After graduating high school, John attended Orleans Technical Institute in Philadelphia where he graduated with Honors and then went to work for the IBEW #269 out of Trenton, NJ.

John had a big heart and was very generous. He was a wonderful caregiver to those living in his apartment complex. He was a very kind and gentle soul.

John was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing with his poppy, Adrian Meskers.

When Johnny wasn't pranking or goofing on his nephew or niece he was bringing over pizza pie He also was an avid animal lover, "The Dog Whisperer" and donated monthly to the ASPCA.

He will be remembered as a very smart and extremely funny man!

Preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ann (Meskers) Potosky, he is survived by his father, John S. Potosky Jr.; his sister, Kim Ligato (Tony); his nephew, Anthony; niece, Alyssa; uncles, Bruce Meskers and two cousins and aunt, Pat Beiger and two cousins.,

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 10, 2020, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
