

John W. Sutter John W. Sutter "Jack" died suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was 66. Born and raised in the Somerton section of Philadelphia, the son of Christine (Jennings) Sutter of Philadelphia and the late Raymond Sutter, Jack has been a Middletown Township resident for the past 28 years. He was an Engineer with PWI of Jenkintown for 15 years. Jack served in the US Army duing the Vietnam War and is a member of the American Legion Memorial Post 960. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting fishing and bow hunting. Jack was a huge Phillies and Eagles fan. Beloved companion of 33 years to Ronnie Johnston, Jack is the brother of Raymond (MaryBeth) of Bensalem and Christine Sutter of Philadelphia. He will also be sadly missed by his 3 nephews, R.J., Jeffrey and Matthew; 1 aunt, several cousins; members of the Johnston family; and many friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack's name may be made to U.C.P. of Phila. and Vicinity (Cerebral Palsy), 102 E. Mermaid Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
