

Longtime Croydon resident and daughter to the late Alfreda (Hoynoski) and John Beears, Karen spent over 20 years working in admissions at Delaware Valley Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Keller, with whom she shared 14 wonderful years of marriage, and the cherished sister of the late Cynthia Beears.
Family was everything to Karen. She is survived by her brother, David Beears, and his wife, Diane, her sisters, Susan Earnest and Janet Grafenstine; and her nieces and nephews: David Krescanko, Jennifer Ambrose (Mark), Brian Beears (Laney), David Grafenstine, Samantha Van Schaick (Bryan), Timothy Dovnarsky (Amanda), Christopher Beears (Lindsey) and Christine Dovnarsky. She leaves behind many great-nieces and great-nephews who meant the world to her. She is also remembered by her stepdaughter Nicole (Joe) and her granddaughter Kylie, who brought her joy and shared in many great memories.
Karen enjoyed her weekly bingo trips, where she could always count on good company and a few laughs. She also loved getting out and about taking day trips with friends and family to explore, make memories, or just enjoy a change of scenery. A loyal Phillies fan, she rarely missed a game and always kept the faith in her team.
She will be remembered for her easy laugh, kind heart, and the deep love she had for those around her. Karen’s warmth and steady presence touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that Karen’s spirit lives on in the stories shared, and the love she gave so freely.
A visitation for Karen will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056. Burial will follow, Bristol Cemetery, US-13, Croydon, Pennsylvania 19021.
