Kenneth Owens

Born in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Mary Veronica (Trunis) and Russell Owens, Kenneth was a graduate of Trenton High School. He has been a resident of Falls Township for the past 33 years.

Ken was a cable splicer with New Jersey Bell for 31 years. After retirement at the age of 52 from the phone company, he spent 15 years working part time in campus communications at the College of New Jersey, retiring from there in 2018.

Beloved husband of the late Sandra R. (Leona); father of the late Gregory K. Owens and brother of the late Richard Owens, Kenneth is survived by his son, Michael E. Owens and grandsons, Michael Kenneth and Nicholas Owens. He will also be sadly missed by his half brother, Russell Owens and dear friend, Claude Crunkleton.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 12:00 until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. A committal service will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown at precisely 2:00 pm.
