Lawrence Howse Sr.

Lawrence Howse Sr. of Levittown died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was 70. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Howse has been a resident of Levittown for the past 46 years. He worked as a kitchen designer with the Home Depot. Mr. Howse was a member of the Bristol Masonic Lodge #25. He was also a member of the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association and the Christian Motorcycle Association. Mr. Howse was the beloved husband of Frieda Howse. He was the loving father of Lawrence (Kimberley) Howse of Jamison and Christine Howse of Bristol and was the devoted grandfather of Nicholas, Victoria, Julia, Matthew, Michael and Amanda. Son of the late Evelyn Sooby, grandson of the late Anne Ivory and brother of the late Kathy Ryan and Daniel Howse, he is survived by his father Martin Sooby, brothers Marty and Rob Sooby and sister Shelly Saldutti. Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 9:30 until 11 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Newtown Cemetery.
