

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Levittown by Dan and Mary Bogan, she then went on to raise her family in Bristol, PA. Linda was a Graduate of Conwell Eagan in 1980 and then went on to receive a Bachelor degree of Education from Holy Family University.
Linda was a lifelong educator and special education advocate, as well as a public servant for the underprivileged. She was a passionate and caring teacher at Thomas Edison High School for the last 12 years. She will be dearly missed by the dedicated teaching staff and her amazing students.
She loved reading, spending time with her grandkids, doing puzzles, beach-going, interior decorating, gardening, thrift and antique shopping, and embracing her creativity through any outlet she could.
Linda was a beautiful and imaginative soul dedicated to supporting and loving her friends and family. She was selfless, honest, and incredibly hardworking. Linda will be remembered for all that she has done for those she loved, her creative touches on every aspect of her life and home, and her unrelenting determination and strength.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Tom Barrett; their children, Madeline Barrett, Danielle Barrett (Scott Gallagher) and Thomas Barrett; her adoring grandchildren, Donovan and Adrien; her siblings, Scott Bogan (Kristen Bogan) and Daniel Bogan; her loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; and her favorite dog, Elsa.
A memorial gathering for Linda will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a family eulogy at 12:00 PM.
