Lynne M. Costigan

Lynne M. Costigan Lynne M. Costigan passed away, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Abington Hospice in Warminster. She was 53. Born in Pittsburgh, Lynne was raised in North Olmsted, Ohio and has been a Lower Bucks County resident for the past 25 years. Lynne was a 1984 graduate of the University of Akron, where she majored in Business Administration and was currently employed as an account executive with Network Communications. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown, and was active with Holy Family Regional Catholic School. Lynne fought a courageous battle with cancer while she continued to balance life as a loving and dedicated mother and a busy career. She was unfaltering in her optimism and knew how to light up a room. She is survived by her children, Richard Joseph IV, Christina Marie and Kelly Rose Costigan and their father. Richard J. Costigan III. Lynne is the loving daughter of Rose (Ferrazzano) Lavelle and was preceded in death by her father, James J. Lavelle and her brother, Patrick Lavelle Lynne will be sadly missed by her sisters, Michelle Lavelle and Denise J. Zavagno (David); several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Rob Traegler. Relatives and friends are invited to call today, Friday, March 13th, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14th, 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery. There will be no calling hours on Saturday.
