Marcella A. Drake

Marcella A. Drake Marcella A. "Sally" Drake died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at her home. She was 82. Born and raised in Olean, NY, the daughter of the late Doris M. (Witherell) and Arthur F. Driscoll, she was a graduate of Olean High School. She was a resident of Morrisville, PA for the past 20 years. She worked for 30 years for the Department of Defense, retiring in 1991. She was also employed with Rider University for 15 years. Mrs. Drake loved old movies, however, her greatest love and enjoyment was taking care of her family. She was the loving mother of Kathryn A. DiSalvo (Anthony) of Morrisville and the proud grandmother of Daniel A. DiSalvo (Amy) of Southampton. Mrs. Drake was the sister of Robert A. Driscoll of Olean and Margaret D. Morris (Russell) of Claymont, DE. She will also be sadly missed by many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Jane Snyder, Joan Miller, John Driscoll and Ellen Dargay. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Friday, 7:30 pm at Saint Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church, 95 East Main Street, Allegany, NY. Interment will be held privately.
