She worked at Temple, where she dedicated much of her time and built meaningful connections with those around her. Margie was truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She had a gentle heart and a quiet strength that showed in everything she did. Even when others were unkind to her, she never returned that energy. Instead, she chose patience, compassion, and understanding—a reflection of the person she was every single day.
Margie found joy in the simple things in life. She loved going out to eat, had a special love for koalas, and her favorite color was purple. She also enjoyed spending time watching her favorite shows, finding comfort and happiness in those moments. She lived a life that brought her joy through the things she loved most, never needing much to be happy.
She is survived by her son, Alex, and her sisters, Terri and Susan, as well and nieces and nephews along with many others who loved her deeply. She is reunited with her late mother and father Marguerite and Thomas Donohue, and her late brothers, Richard, Patrick, and Thomas Donohue
Margie will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the love she gave so freely without ever asking for anything in return. Her presence brought comfort to those around her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, on May 9, 2026, starting at 11:00am. Her Memorial Service will follow beginning at 12:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to wear purple in her honor.
