Marie E. Bacchi

Marie E. Bacchi passed away at Legacy Gardens on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, with her loving family at her side. Born on January 27, 1929, in Butler, PA daughter of the late Anna (Duke) and Joseph Swinchock.

Marie has been a resident of Fairless Hills and an original member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish since 1953. She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening and traveling with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, A. Edward Bacchi, six siblings, and fiancé Tony Semeraro.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Jan Bacchi, Lynn Socoloski (late Paul), Laureen Marterella (Jeff) and Blake Bacchi (Laurie); her 9 grandchildren, Janine (Matt), Andrea (Dan), Christine (Joe), Justine (Brandon), Jill (Jon), Megan (Jeev), Gwen, Keith, Neil, and 9 great grandchildren. In addition, she will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone at Legacy Gardens for providing their care and compassion to Marie for the last three years.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. There will be no calling hours on Monday morning.
