Marie was born in Philadelphia before relocating to Bensalem where she would spend the remainder of her days. She was a hairdresser in the area for 35 years. In 1984, Marie married a good man in the late Joseph Dunn. More recently, Marie crossed off a lifelong bucket list item of visiting Aruba!
Shopping was her favorite past time and served her well as she was always dressed to impress; never skipping a nail appointment, and certainly never missing an opportunity to look her best.
Her greatest joy in life was to be surrounded by family.
She delighted in a tidy home, perfect for hosting anyone at any time but definitely for the holidays. Marie could always be counted on to be a good time. She loved to cook and boasted a high standard for any meal. Her delicious, expertly made soups will be dearly missed by all who were ever lucky in life to enjoy them.
Marie is predeceased by her dear husband Joseph Dunn and her grandson Richard Watson III.
She is remembered by her daughters Lisa Sloan and Regina McCullion (Brian); as well as 5 grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at St. Ephrem's Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by a Mass of Catholic Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
