Marilyn A. Davis

Marilyn A. Davis, nee Higgins, loving mother of three, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2021 at the age of 82. Marilyn was born and raised in Butler, PA where she and her husband Bob were married. She and Bob moved to Lower Bucks County with a young family in 1962.

Upon graduation from Butler High School, Marilyn completed a Registered Nursing Degree from Butler School of Nursing and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State. Her nursing career spanned over 45 years, and included pediatrics, emergency, family practice, and pharmaceutical research. Dedicated and highly skilled, she took great pride and honor in serving countless patients throughout her career.

Marilyn’s love of music was on display every Sunday as an organist for numerous Lutheran churches in the area. For years, she was the organist and choir director at the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairless Hills. Her dedication to God and her hardworking, practical style made her a reliable friend to the many people who will miss her.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bob. She is survived by her three children, Jeff, Brian, and Kerry and grandchildren Colin and Rhiannon.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
