Dolly was born on October 3, 1934 in Shenandoah, PA, to Frank McCormick and Theresa (Grosskettler) McCormick. Dolly will be with her sweet Joe whom she has missed dearly over the last 13 years. Dolly is survived by her twin brother Joseph (Barbara) McCormick, nephews Greg (Cathy) McCormick and Chris (Mary) McCormick, niece Beth McCormick, great niece Grace McCormick, great nephews Nicholas McCormick and Kyle McCormick, very close family friends Anne Taylor and Danny Taylor, other family, and many caring friends.
Dolly was the best kind of person and always fun to be around. When she was younger, if she wasn’t water skiing on the Delaware River, she was traveling the world with her beloved husband Joe. Dolly and Joe were original and proud homeowners in Levittown’s Mill Creek Falls section, devoted and active member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and magnets for several of the children in their neighborhood, many becoming lifelong friends.
In her later years, she enjoyed visits from family and friends, lunch dates with her girl friends at local diners, and spreading light and love to all she met.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056.
A funeral mass will occur on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.
