Mary Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Leonard and Rita Popelish. She graduated from Little Flower High School, continued her education, and went on to establish a career as a registered Nurse at Northeastern Hospital. In addition, Mrs. Kolod served in the United States Air Force in the late 1950s-early 1960s. Mary Ann was also a member of the Secular Franciscan Order TOR.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Irvin M. Kolod and her parents.
Mary Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mark J. and Joanne Kolod, and her grandchildren Matthew L. and Maryann B. Kolod.
A viewing for Mary Ann will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her funeral mass at 11:00 AM, and burial at 12:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.
