Mary Anne Fowler

Mary Anne P. Fowler of Bensalem died on Friday, December 30, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 69.Born in Philadelphia, Mary Anne spent most of her early years in Bensalem and then later moved to Levittown where she resided for many years. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish.Mary Anne worked for the Bensalem School District as a bus driver for 17 years until retiring in 2014.Mary Anne enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Italy and the casinos in Reno, NV and Atlantic City. She was a member of the Bristol Moose.Companion of the late George Rossi, Mary Anne is the loving mother of Catherine Wurtzbacher (Anthony Hourmouzis), Mary Fulton (Ernie Reed), Sherrie Barnett (Glenn), Nicole Fowler (Dave Roach) and Brian Fowler (Kelly). She was the devoted grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.One of eleven siblings, Mary Anne is survived by her brother John Roberts (Fran) and sister Debbie Sarciewicz (Raymond). She will be missed by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.Family and friends are invited to call from 9 until 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 7th at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment is private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association,1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
